Waste Management 

While waste collection can be a challenge in Panama, this is not the case within Costa Blanca Villas. Daily garbage pickup is included in your monthly service fees and is managed by our service provider, Decameron. This service also includes garden waste removal (such as grass clippings) and compost.

Please note that although Decameron may occasionally collect other types of landscaping debris (such as pruning branches), these items are not officially included in the regular waste collection service. Residents are not encouraged to place such debris on the street or expect immediate pickup. If you require the removal of landscaping waste other than grass clippings, please speak directly with the property administration.

If you have extra garbage bags that do not fit in the green metal bin outside your property, they must be placed inside a covered plastic container to prevent access by wildlife.  If you don't have an extra garage can, you can drop off extra bags

at the entrance gates. You can drop off cans and glass bottles in the recyclable bins at each entrance gate also.  

 

The waste collection service does not include:

• Construction debris (e.g., wood, plastic, metal, or concrete). These materials are the responsibility of the owner or contractor to remove.

• Large items that do not fit in the green metal garbage container, such as small appliances or furniture.

 

If you are donating items to staff or any other individual, please provide a written authorization letter for the removal. This may be required by security at the entrance gate.
