Besides golf, Costa Blanca owners and residents have access to a variety of onsite recreational, social, volunteer opportunities, allowing for meaningful community involvement and connection. This includes but not limited to basketball, pickleball, tennis courts, and a library/book club at the beach club.
From December to March, there are additional activities available to Costa Blanca Villas Residents. These activities include a book club and aqua fitness, both which are held at the beach club.
At Costa Blanca Villas you can enjoy the outdoors with scenic walking paths, golf cart trails, and abundant green space. Costa Blanca Villas is home to many native birds and wildlife, giving nature lovers even more to enjoy. It should be noted that here are numerous hiking clubs in the area that one can join to explore the hiking trails across the area.
Owners and long term tenants also have access to the new gym located near the beach club for $40.00/month. The access is 6:00 am - 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 pm - 8:00 p.m. Contact the Villas Administration for more information. If you're looking for something with more equipment, there are various gyms in the are. Buenaventura has a sports club that many Costa Blanca Villas residents and owners belong to. As well there are various gyms in Coronado, as well as a Planet Fitness in Penonome.
As any Costa Blanca Villas Good Neighbour will tell you, there are countless opportunities, both within the community and beyond, to socialize and get involved, if you choose to. It’s truly what you make of it. A strong sense of community spirit continues to grow here at Costa Blanca Villas.
Participation in our many activities and gatherings is on the rise, from golf leagues and tournaments to various charity events. Another highlight is the beautiful piano recitals by Katarina Peers, which have become a heartwarming symbol of generosity and unity.
Both permanent residents and seasonal renters at Costa Blanca Villas take great pride in giving back. We feel incredibly fortunate to live in what many call “paradise” and are always looking for ways to connect and contribute. Whether you’re here full-time or just for the season, there are plenty of ways to meet like-minded neighbours and make a positive impact.
One shining example is the Nora Zalba Memorial Golf Tournament. Originally launched in 2014 as the Books for Children Tournament, this initiative was founded by Nora Zalba and continues to flourish. While Phase I focused on providing books to local children, Phase II has expanded its mission to offer financial support to students pursuing higher education.
Another cherished tradition is the School Christmas Party for the students of Farallón. We are thrilled that Joanie Barton and Rebecca Maurer have taken the lead on organizing this joyful event, supported by a dedicated group of volunteers, many of whom are early December arrivals or full-time residents. Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, each of the approximately 80 students received a small gift. The celebration featured face painting, music, cookie decorating, cotton candy, games, and a special visit from Santa. Mark your calendars! This year’s Christmas Party is scheduled for Friday, December 19th, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. We can’t wait to share another memorable celebration with the students of Farallón.
