“In 2006 my husband Geody, daughter Hailey and best friends Mark, Petra and Markie discovered Decameron through a friend Sally who had just purchased a townhouse. We had a timeshare in Mexico and couldn’t go due to hurricane damage. We are adventurous so we discovered the little town of Farallon right away and enjoyed the restaurants off the resort. We met Woody and loved everything about him and his restaurant, Pipas, La Fogata, loved them all. We made many wonderful Panamanian friends in the 10 days we were at the resort. It doesn’t end there! The guys went golfing, fell in love with the golf course and Costa Blanca and decided they wanted to buy a place!! Great investment they thought as we were far from retirement. One day before we were leaving the last built townhouse in Phase One for sale came up and we bought it really not knowing much about Panama other than we loved the people and country and how lovely we were treated. The rest is history. We watched Costa Blanca grow and become the beautiful golf resort it is. Panama is our family’s second home. Our daughter grew up coming to Panama and has made lifelong friends with the locals. We love our many friends we have met over the 20 years. We love everything about our life in Costa Blanca. The community is by far the best, safety is a priority, the grounds are gorgeous, fabulous golf course, shopping and airport 5 minutes away. Hospitals and healthcare are easily accessible. Things have changed in 20 years but only for the better! Love our Panamanian home”
